Family and Friends,
This blog is being posted in an effort to educate people about the abuse of drugs, its signs and symptoms, what you can do about helping someone who is abusing drugs, and how to prevent children from falling prey to the terrible destroyer of human life.

The Drug Abuse Control Council Orange Walk Branch invites and urges the community, parents and its stake holders to help in anyway possible to educate,and control drug abuse in this beautiful District of Orange Walk Town and by extension Belize City.

We always welcome your help, ideas, donations and sponsorship in anyway possible at anytime so that the battle against drug abuse becomes successful. We pledge for your support and your help. A community united will never be defeated.

ABOUT NDACC

History
The National Drug Abuse Control Council-NDACC was established in 1988 and legally constituted under the misuse of drugs act of 1990.

Mission Statement of NDACC
NDACC is determined to create a society that is free from the abuse of drugs while advancing the good health and moral well being of the Nation.
 NDACC Orange Walk
NDACC-OW is committed to meet  the basic human rights of all people who aim to enjoy an environment free of the deliberating effects of drugs as an entity to human growth  and development for the optimum quality of life for both present and future generations.


NDACC's main objectives
 -to promote drug demand reduction strategies in schools.
- to alleviate the consequences associated with the misuse of licit and illicit drugs.
- to create an environment where drugs use is not acceptable.
